Garden Grid is designed to keep the main task usable with a keyboard, readable text and visible unit labels.
Using the calculators
Press Tab to move between navigation links, input fields and buttons. Every numeric input has a visible label and a unit. Select Calculate to update the result, Reset example to restore the worked example, or Copy result to copy the displayed quantity and unit. Invalid combinations produce a text message rather than a colour-only indicator.
Reading and navigation
A skip link moves directly to the main content. Pages use heading levels, landmarks and descriptive link text. Search and category filters have accessible labels. The layouts adapt to narrow screens, and reduced-motion preferences remove nonessential transitions. Browser zoom and text-size controls remain available.
Charts
Illustrated guides include image descriptions and a nearby data table with representative values. The text explains what varies and what stays fixed. You do not need to distinguish chart colours to read the worked example or use its calculator.
Known boundaries
This is not a claim of third-party accessibility certification. Native number inputs, clipboard actions, downloads and email drafts can behave differently across browsers and assistive technologies. JavaScript is required for interactive calculations, although formulas and examples remain readable without it.
Reporting a barrier
Use Contact to describe the page, the task you were trying to complete, your browser and any assistive technology involved. Avoid sending private information unrelated to the issue. When no inbox is connected, you can download a report to share with the website operator through an available channel.
